Translated History
Theses, Research, Controversies from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Russia in German Translation
“Translated History” includes specialized texts from eastern and northeastern countries in German translation. Every translation is preceded by an introduction placing it in context and relating it to the present state of research. In this way, “Translated History” represents a source of materials both for research and teaching and for a public interested in the history of northeastern Europe. It thus facilitates and informs the international discussion of the results of research and the development of cultural memory for specialists and the public alike.
